Greene County Treasurer Candidate

Denise Percival has spent her entire career serving the people of Greene County, earning a reputation for integrity, professionalism, steady leadership, and genuine commitment to community. With more than three decades of experience across county government, she stepped into the role of Greene County Treasurer in November, 2024 already deeply familiar with the systems, responsibilities, and residents she now serves.
As Treasurer, Denise’s approach blends practical expertise with a clear sense of stewardship—modernizing operations, strengthening transparency, and ensuring that taxpayer services reflect the needs of a growing and diverse community. Examples of such include new
realproperty and cashiering systems, expanded payment options and online resources, strengthened coordination with the Auditor’s Office, and managed county investments with an emphasis on responsible stewardship and longterm financial health. She serves on the Board of Revision, Budget Commission, and Investment Advisory Board, and is Vice President of the County Treasurer’s Association of Ohio Southwest District.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and has completed extensive state training in governmental accounting, investments, and cash management. Her long record of community involvement includes work with the American Cancer Society, Greene County Combined Health District, Greene Memorial Hospital, Greene County Career Center just to name a few. She is also a member of the Xenia Chamber of Commerce.
She and her husband Jim are active in Greene County’s agricultural community, where she has held leadership roles in the Greene County Farm Bureau and currently serves as President of the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association. Her agricultural advocacy has taken her to Washington, D. C., and national industry conventions representing Ohio on numerous occasions.
Rooted in Greene County’s civic and agricultural life, Denise brings to public service the same values that have guided her family, her work, and her volunteer commitments: faith, integrity, respect, and a belief in contributing to a strong future for the place she has always called home.
